Camping

This weekend we went to Spruces campground with the kids and the trailer. We had a great time! Isla was really good and slept the whole night until 6 am. We have a small heater that makes it really comfortable at night.  On Sunday morning we took a hike hoping to see some wildlife but all we saw were a couple of ducks. It was still pleasant though!
I am going to make an attempt to be more prepared. We eat the worst food while we are camping. I hate doing dishes and don't like cooking while we are there. My friend Mindy's family makes the best food while camping. Once when I was with them we had seven layer bean dip and enchiladas. It was delish. I'm going to try to make an effort to make better food while we are there. Hot dogs and cold cereal just isn't cutting it with my family!

Isla Gardening

Isla and I were pulling weeds this morning and she was such a good little helper. She loves to be outside and to play in the dirt!

Stephanie got a fancy new camera and she took some pictures that were awesome! I am stealing them and putting them on my blog. I think I need a fancy new camera! Aren't they amazing! They were all taken on the  Fourth at Tom and Connies house.

Fourth of July

We had a great Fourth of July. We went to Tom and Connie for the traditional BBQ and fireworks. Ethan LOVES to be with his cousins. We had a lot of great food and lots of family time.
Saturday we took the kids to Cherry Hill. It was overcast that day and when we got there one of the main splash pads was broken. Ethan LOVED it! He and I went down a waterslide atleast ten times. I thought it would be too scary for him but he had a great time!

Too hot for clothes

I think we might live in a naked house. I haven't made Isla wear clothes for a month and she loves it! Earlier this week Isla and Ethan played with the hose to cool off a bit and we topped off the afternoon with a fudge pop.
