Wheeler Farm

Yesterday I put hats on the kids and we went to feed the ducks. It was so beautiful yesterday and there was no one there! Isla played a lot and eat tons of dirt. Ethan threw rocks in a pond and eat most of the duck food.

Proton Pack

Aaron is making Ethan a proton pack from Ghostbusters. It looks pretty cool. I just wanted to put a picture up because I think it's a fun project!

Soccer Man

                     Ethan consorting with the enemy. This kid kept trying to give him hugs! 

Ethan's first soccer game was on Saturday and it was so much fun! He loved to run around and kick the ball. I have no idea if they won. I'm not sure that they even keep score. Let's say they did win and call it a day!

Mummies and Rocking Chairs

Ethan has been DYING to see the Mummy of the World Exhibition at The Leonardo museum. Last Sunday Aaron took him and they had a great time. It was 50 bucks for the two of them so it was pretty pricey. They seemed to enjoy it though.
I took some fun pictures of Isla and Ethan on their rocking chair and horsey this week. Isla loves to sit in Ethan's rocking chair. She is like an old lady in training!
This morning they were both running around with their shirts off. I didn't realize clothing was optional this morning! What a pair!

Party

Today we celebrated Isla's first birthday with The Lockharts and Miles. It was a great party. We had all of Islas favorite foods as snacks; vanilla wafers, chocolate chips, pretzels, jelly beans, and chocolate covered pretzels. I made a gluten free Elmo cake.....yum! Isla chewed on the number one candle until someone took it away. That was her favorite part!
Isla got lots of cute outfits (thanks Gma and Steph), a check for her college fund, a tea set, and a bubble popper. It was a very gloomy day but we made the best of it and had a great time!
