Sledding and the bracelet

 My Castellani wedding bracelet. I have wanted this bracelet for YEARS! It's from the Jackie Kennedy collection on QVC.  On one side it says NON RELINQUAM means, "I will never give up on you." And on the other side it says 
NON RELINQUES means, "You will never give up on me." 

So in the 1500s there was a Italian Prince and he wanted to make his wife something special so he commisioned a famous jewelry maker to make this for his wife. Twenty years later a Duke asked this jewelry maker to make his wife the same bracelet. In addition, to make sure it was special he gave the man 1 million dollars extra and asked him to never make the bracelet again. So there are two real ones in existance. Jackie really wanted one and in 1983 one of them came up for auction. Jackie paid 1.5 million dollars for it. I love it! 

On Sunday we went sledding with Ethan's girlfriend and her family. Ethan and Isla had so much fun! It was a great time! Isla rode down on Aaron's back the first two times down the hill  and then she took the sled and went down by herself. That hill was really steep and long! I was really proud of her! It looks like Aaron will have a snowboarding buddy after all!
